Case Study: Marposs, West Midlands
The challenge:
The large international precision engineering company Marposs, wanted to reduce its operational costs and GET Solutions identified that the company could reduce their consumption of electricity by installing energy-efficient LED lighting.
Our solution:
GET Solutions installed 171 high quality LED lights which have a five-year manufacturer’s warranty and have a life expectancy of up to 11.2 years. In addition to the products long life, the LED lights are also maintenance-free, which means that in addition to the financial savings, improved quality of light and aesthetics, Marposs will have further savings on their maintenance budget.
The result:
The LED equipment reduced their lighting energy use by a massive 66% which provides a return on investment of just 2.9 years, and over a five-year period, they will have saved the equivalent weight of 10.5 double-decker buses in carbon.
